As a Technology Architect, you will significantly contribute to identifying best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; develop design of application, provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution and execution. You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs. Location for this position is Irving, TX. This position may require 20% travel.

Qualifications

Basic

* Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
* At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology

Preferred

* At least 5 years' experience in Oracle, SQL, DB2DBA
* Strong knowledge in Oracle Core administration, cloning, refreshes, Installation, upgrades
* Good experience in Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g, 12c databases administration with strong skills in concepts and architecture and hands on experience on Oracle RAC databases.
* Support, administer, optimize and maintain Production and Development Oracle 10g/11g, 12c database environments running on different platforms.
* Performance Index Strategy, Re-org vs Re build, update statistics, Schema design partitioning Performance tuning wait stats, dmvsEMER access, Capacity Management, DR, COB,HA Clustering DB security, App entitlements, Archiving, replication, ETL, DB modeling, load testing.
* Backup and Recovery skills with Data guard implementation, RMAN configuration & Setup
* Strong knowledge in Database Performance and System and Query tuning skills in Oracle Core DBA administration.
* Should have worked with HANG Analyzer, system state dump, SQL Tuning, AWR analysis, Trace file analysis etc.
* Good experience in Oracle WebLogic Server Administration.
* Should good experience on Linux/Unix OS and extensive knowledge on Shell scripting and automation.
* Should have good experience in Maintenance and Support and ability to work on Complex Production environments independently.
* Should have working experience in different OS platforms and cross platform migration skills.

Experience in Oracle RAC databases, DR setups, High availability system and knowledge on load balancers.

* Ability to work independently in complex environments of multi-vendor systems.
* Should have worked in 24x7 environment and on-call project requirements
* Experience in OEM administration
* Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
