Job Description

Cisco Meraki is seeking a creative and experienced network engineering manager to lead a team of Technical Evangelists in the Americas region.

The Training & Evangelism team is responsible for driving market adoption of Meraki among Cisco, partner, and customer audiences. We do this by developing, promoting, and delivering scalable programs that build knowledge and create enthusiasm among participants.

In this position, you will oversee the delivery of Cisco Meraki technical training programs, lead the development of processes and content, identify and implement new training initiatives in the region, and manage and develop a team of Technical Evangelists. You will also work with top partners and users to build their Meraki capabilities and help drive market adoption.

The ideal candidate is an experienced and passionate IT professional with a strong technical background and demonstrated leadership. You should possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively manage complex projects, and excitement about leading a dynamic and growing team at the forefront of cloud networking.

Responsibilities:

* Manage and mentor a team of Technical Evangelists, ensuring projects and outcomes align with Training and Evangelism team goals
* Lead the development of new training materials and serve as a technical escalation point for the team
* Identify, plan, and execute new training initiatives with your team to advance regional priorities
* Conduct interviews, hire, and train future Technical Evangelists
* Lead technical trainings and deliver updates to Cisco Meraki partner engineers, Cisco employees, and customers

Required Qualifications:

* 1-5 years in a lead or management role
* Comprehensive technical knowledge in network engineering - routing, switching, wireless and security
* Demonstrated project management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and set priorities
