Job Description

The Technical Support Supervisor will be assigned to projects working in collaboration with Laboratory Operations, and the Product Development team. Technical Support is responsible for the receiving of raw materials for prequalification testing, troubleshooting, and reworking assays under the direction of the Laboratory Director. The Technical Support Supervisor is involved with directing the work of a team of Technical Support Associates (and Specialists) and contributing to the development and execution of major or multi-disciplinary projects, and will perform state-of-the-art, complex projects in collaboration with Product Development.

* Bachelor's degree with a minimum 4 years of experience working in research & development and/or a clinical lab
* Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position
* Knowledgeable of all current instrumentation techniques involving DNA/RNA extractions, PCR and RT-PCR reactions, and DNA sequencing Next-Generation.
* Experience with LIMS systems, ISO quality management systems and lab automation
* Effective time management and interpersonal skills
