15869 Technical Support Consultant II- Video and Media (Open)

Position Type:

Full time



Position Details:

Provide technical support for live linear streaming and video-on-demand solutions. Act as a liaison between clients and client vendors for requirements gathering and managing all media streaming processes and integrations. Produce and maintain integration documentation regarding functionality and implementation. Act as subject matter expert and an escalation point for implementations and features. Provide research on new tools or integration options to ensure the best client experience, as needed.


* Develop and maintain applications/tools that integrate with internal/external systems
* Provide support to Functional Team in partnering with clients to translate individual client business logic into software requirements
* Provide assistance to solution architect by identifying requirements and improvements to architectural design of new/existing applications
* Ability to lead a technical work stream as a component of a larger project
* Provide subject-matter expertise, customer advocacy, and analysis through all phases of development life-cycle
* Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
* Ability to work on multiple assignments/projects at the same time
* Ability to communicate well with internal/external parties


* Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience
* 1 - 3 years of experience working in a technical position is required
* Knowledge of video encoding systems and platforms is required
* Knowledge of industry standards and specifications around video and audio encoding formats is required
* Demonstrated ability to gather complex technical requirements and perform technical gap analyses
* Ability to create and use command line utilities applying various programming languages
* Strong independent learning and problem solving skills are required
* Strong knowledge of web services (JSON, SOAP) is required
* Experience in customer facing application software projects/programs is preferred
* Ability to pick up new technologies and solutions is a plus
