Job Description

The Technical Specialist I researches, evaluates, and recommends the proper use of current information technology including, but not limited to, relatively complex arrays of hardware, operating systems, applications software, networking protocols, client/server configurations, desktop management, messaging systems, databases, etc., that form the foundation of systems and toolsets used by Ambulatory Affiliate users. Stays abreast of information technology developments, provides opinions on emerging technologies, and aids in practically adopting technology and

incorporating it into existing systems and procedures. Leads or participates in projects involving technical components

or technological risk.

Qualifications

* In depth, broad understanding of key information technologies.
* Five years' experience as a technical specialist or equivalent experience.
* Highly analytical, creative thinking and problem‐solving skills.
* Three years of significant and successful project management
* Good communications skills, both verbal and written.
* Good leadership, supervision, and teamwork skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, Engineering, and/or technical certification(s) desirable.
