Job Description

Job Summary

This position is a member of the Global Corporate Services (GCS) IT team and is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and software. The position is also responsible for building, maintaining, and deploying hardware and software applications using SCCM or other admin tools. The Technical Services Specialist will monitor and resolve the help desk phone and ticketing. This position will be expected to provide support to both local and remote employees.

Essential Duties

* Provide hardware support services (40% of the time)
* Troubleshoot and repair laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals
* Assist employees with moving IT equipment during relocations


* Provide software support services (60% of the time)
* Build, maintain and update standard OS images using SCCM
* Create and maintain software deployments using SCCM
* Build and deploy third-party driver and software updates for laptops and desktops
* Reset passwords and maintain user/computer accounts using Active Directory
* Maintain asset inventory and reporting using Lansweeper



Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience supporting a Microsoft Windows environment
* CompTIA A+, MTA, MCSA or similar certificates or equivalent experience
* Knowledge and experience supporting Microsoft Office suites (2013, 2016, O365)
* Knowledge and experience using Active Directory
* Knowledge and experience using Shavlik/Ivanti Patch for Windows
* Knowledge and experience using Lansweeper or other asset tracking tools
* Knowledge and experience using SCCM to deploy and manage workstations
* Experience supporting HP printers and print server tools
* Experience supporting Dell hardware (laptops, desktops)
* Outstanding customer service skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to prepare technical documentation
* Outstanding time management skills, including the ability to prepare, prioritize, and complete work plans
* Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills including the ability to clearly define and resolve issues
* Requires a High School Diploma, GED, a moderate degree of previous training or a combination of education and relevant training/experience
