Sales, Research & Capital Markets Technology are looking to recruit a Project Manager/Scrum Master/Product Owner to join their team. The successful candidate will help form the vision, roadmap and goals for the application/projects they will be aligned to, working with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver robust and sustainable business software solutions using agile techniques. They will also be responsible for ensuring that requirements are appropriately understood, documented, owned, and actioned.

Educational Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Financial Domain OR Information/Computer Science Or related Business Analysis/Analytic field
* Certification in both Project Management & Agile methods

Specific responsibilities include

* Act as Project Manager/Scrum Master/Product Owner and play a key role in establishing, developing and maximising the overall team performance by guiding them on how best to leverage agile/scrum techniques to deliver outstanding results
* Responsible for managing the scrum processes as well as facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning and retrospective meetings
* Develop plans aligned with team capacity and performance, identifying critical milestones to secure confidence in delivery timelines
* Coordinate and manage meetings with business unit subject matter expert(s) in order to solicit and cross-reference business and functional requirements ensuring expectations are clearly understood and satisfied
* Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and department managers
* Collaborate with technology team members, end users, and other stakeholders in the testing of new software programs and applications
* Review, analyse, and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop testing strategies for improving or leveraging these systems
* Work diligently to enhance or improve business processes via integration, or as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes
* Oversee technology/application integration and implementation
* Communicate application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, and end users
* Assist with QA/Testing to convert use cases to test cases as well as coordinate UAT.

Skills Required

* Previous experience in the financial services field, preferably within the institutional business
* Minimum 5-10 years working in a large & complex environment
* In-depth knowledge of and experience delivering projects using agile principles and techniques.
* Experience in creating and executing project plans including experience in managing budgets for applications and projects
* Excellent analytical and detail oriented skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
* Excellent relationship management, communication, teamwork, and influence skills; ability to operate at senior levels in both written and verbal communications interacting professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple processes: Candidate can manage time sensitive issues, prioritize multiple processes and projects and articulate thought process for decision-making
* Experience managing and working with vendors (outside companies developing applications)
* Excellent written communication skills and spoken English: Candidate must be able to provide the development and QA Teams with clear, concise written business requirements
* Technical capabilities: Candidate must be versed in technical concepts to be able to understand implementation details, including working knowledge of relational databases as well as have moderate SQL skills to self-sufficiently query and analyse data
* Proficient with MS Office applications: Excel, MS Project, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint
