Supports for End to End Technology for programs and projects. Performs project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery. Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects. Manages multiple projects or a single major project. Partners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions. Assists with technology estimates, manages low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment. Manages to timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibility. Build positive give and take relationships with stakeholders. Use the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations. Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.

Job Description

Responsible for team level contributions to overall application management and modernization efforts within Sales Technology for Capital Markets and Global Banking platforms. These platforms are critical for managing deals, customer relationships and deal expenses for investment banking. The application program solutions involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools. Ensure new application systems design and architecture of the solution is well understood by involved parties and responsible for overall delivery. This role is also responsible for timely delivery of all risk, TOM and related deliverables for our platforms. Ability to interface with the business partners in capital markets and global banking is important as well.

Minimum 7 years experience required in enterprise application development using Java, Oracle, Unix and JS frameworks and mobile solutions within Bank of America application framework.

Skills

* Strong engineering mindset with a track record of application modernization with at least one large platform delivered from inception to completion
* Ability to understand new application flows and architecture quickly
* Prior experience managing offshore and onshore resources
* Managing AIT in Bank of America or ability to learn this rapidly
* Proven experience with JAVA/J2EE and modern JS frameworks, JavaScript/HTML5
* Strong experience in troubleshooting multiple platform and tiered environments
* Effective business consultant
* Comfortable driving transformation strategy
* Understanding of deal workflow in capital markets and global banking and knowledge of how capital markets and banking business functions in order to design effective solutions in partnership with our business partners.
