Technical Project Manager, Microservices

Our Client in Seattle seeks a highly-technical Project Manager to deliver high-availability, next generation software solutions which will empower online retailers in the highly-competitive E-Commerce digital atmosphere. The role will involve Scrum, business analysis and Project Management fundamentals combined to deliver complex, functional and disruptive client solutions.

You will lead the Software Delivery Team, with a East-Seattle Client on Java-Based solutions. You will set client expectations, prioritize against team delivery capacity and work in a client-facing fashion to help them understand potential roadblocks, challenges and requirements along the way. This includes a shared understanding of the product functionality.

This starts as a 3-Month Contract and the client intends to convert to FTE.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Full Project Management responsibility from inception to implementation, client requirements, identify risks, migrating solutions and resolutions.Lead team objectives and task executionLeading of Scrum, retrospective and sprint planning, identify roadblocks and mitigate them so that they do not disrupt the development team.When needed produce Use Cases, Functional Requirements, UI Specs, requirements for business and other Artifacts.

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager handling HIGHLY TECHNICAL requirements from inception to delivery.Experience leading projects involving Microservices, publishing or releasing applications with Docker Containers, AWS, Java-Based Applications and other modern web technologies and software solutions.Demonstrated experience with the entire Project Management Lifecycle (engagement of stakeholders, multiple team environment, etc.)Excellent negotiator, diplomaticProven track record of detailed user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, etc.Confluence, Atlassian, JIRA

MUST WORK ONSITE IN SEATTLE OFFICE LOCATION, WE ARE UNABLE TO SPONSOR, LOCAL CANDIDATES TO GREATER SEATTLE AREA PREFERRED, MUST BE ABLE TO START BY JULY 15
