Description

The Technical Project Manager manages performance of a task or project as part of a larger program under direction of the Senior PM. Manage and integrate activities in accordance with contract requirements and ensure technical performance. Define or contribute to the program baseline then execute the program to comply with baseline requirements. Manage risk, customer relationships, and program staffing. Ensure compliance with quality standards and escalate challenges to SAIC leadership. Support business development and program staff management.

Specific Experience in DR/BC/HA and infrastructure projects. Develops detailed work plans including cutover plans and implementation schedules. Works with the customer PM to establish and implement the governance and communication plans. Establishes and implements risk management plan. Secures surge resources. Manages user acceptance testing and fulfills release management role coordinating with customer development, configuration management, security, client software and testing teams. Point person for escalating and coordinating the removal of obstacles. Organizes training and transfer activities.

Qualifications

Required

* Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years of experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more of experience.


* PMP Certification


* MS Project, MS Office, Jira, Rally, or HP Quality Center


* Excellent verbal and written skills
