Join Apple's Customer Systems team as a Technical Project Manager to build innovative applications and solutions. You will play a critical role in driving the strategy and execution, along with the technical direction for the Customer Systems team; working with business leaders and external vendors to define and establish system roadmap, design, develop, test and implement solution with high quality on time and within budget. Candidates should have software background with hands-on design and implementation experience of large-scale applications and web-based systems. Strong judgement, oral and written communication, and leadership skills are required. The ability to drive decisions through consensus and influence change and the ability to resolve conflict effectively is essential to succeed in this role.
Key responsibilities include: Functional lead for the project team responsible for delivering multiple solutions and compliance initiatives as needed Lead planning, development, implementation & maintenance of customer support & service solutions demonstrating web development technology best practices Working with business partners, define scope and gather business requirements; lead development of conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs Provide leadership and technical expertise to define solutions architecture and roadmap for next generation highly scalable and high performance solutions Manage multiple projects, setting priorities with measurable objectives, monitoring and reporting on the process, progress and results Formulate and execute project plans, helping manage the project teams to complete on time and within budget Lead technical development team; review deliverables for accuracy and completeness Understand detailed end-to-end process flows within the CRM Partner domain and other integrated Apple systems Partner with business to ensure their expectations are met and managed Effectively communicate program status to the senior management and business partners on a regular basis Institutionalize best practices for IT applications development and project management to ensure consistent delivery of quality application solutions Keep up-to date on latest technology solutions in market to generate innovative ideas to solve business challenges
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or Information Management and 8+ years of related experience
