Job Description

Etsy is looking for an energetic Project Coordinator to support the Technical Project Management (TPM) team.

As Etsy moves complex systems to a cloud provider, vendor management of our contractors and other coordination tasks are essential to TPM's partnership with engineering teams. The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Director of TPM and team by coordinating documentation, schedules, and project plans with a focus on vendor management for the vendors providing contractors to Etsy.

* You manage the document repository for TPM, from project plans to Engineering technical design documents.
* You are comfortable working with Finance on new vendor creation and tracking.
* You are comfortable working with HR on contractor onboarding and management.
* You excel at cross-team communication and schedule coordination.
* You effectively scribe for meetings to capture key decisions made, action items, and owners of those action items.
* You have the ability to operate in a lean, rapid growth environment.

About You

* You have at least 3 years of experience in the software industry with project coordination, vendor management, or project management.
* You have at least a year of experience demonstrating an understanding of the entire lifecycle of engineering projects; cloud infrastructure project work a plus.
* You are experienced at coordinating multiple teams across multiple vendors, naturally building rapport and forming new professional relationships.
* You have helped multiple teams optimize and adapt their development process to succeed for different personalities and needs.
* You have a passion for learning and self-improvement.
* You care deeply about maintaining a sustainable software development process where vendor work and Engineering goals are aligned.
* You actively seek clarification and ask questions to quickly solve challenges. You are skilled at finding contractor resources that augment team building and productivity, with an appreciation for the value of diversity in a successful team.
* You know how to effectively work with remote team members and business partners.
