What you'll be doing...

The Technical Program Manager, Integrations owns the backlog, scoping, prioritization, and ultimate delivery for the Tableau Systems Integration and Infrastructure (Team Bedrock) agile development team. You will work as the product owner for the agile delivery team, partnering with internal business stakeholders and the development team to deliver features that achieve business goals & delight customers. In addition, you will help lead operational efforts to ensure that Tier 1 business integration services are kept highly available. An example of the systems that this TPM may interact with include Talend ESB and ETL products, AWS Infrastructures, Salesforce (CRM), NetSuite (ERP), Flexera (Product Delivery), and many custom built tools while supporting our Product Development, Finance, Marketing, and Technical Operation departments. This role is on the Operations Programs team within Tableau Technical Operations.

Some of the things you will be doing…

* Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to deeply understand their business needs translate them into workable backlog items
* Owning a product roadmap to deliver work that is properly scoped & prioritized
* Partnering with fellow TPMs to deliver cross-team features/projects
* Analyzing the trade-offs between custom built and vendor solutions
* Working with development teams to adequately resource and schedule features for delivery
* Working within a scrum ecosystem as a product owner
* Maintaining reports for work in progress and the status of delivering against your roadmap
* Writing, maintaining, and designing technical and project documentation for internal use
* Communicating (both written and verbal) in an organized and clear way
* Problem solving across various technology systems & business processes to propose ideas, scope features, and implement solutions
* Aiding in internal recruitment and hiring, helping Tableau continue to build one of the best companies and workplace cultures in the world

* Highly Technical. Familiarity with cloud-based systems. Demonstrated understanding of how to maximize return on technology investments with native functionality vs custom code. Ability to work with a team that uses the Cloud as the Platform and designs systems and build functionality to get results.

* Education/Experience:
* Bachelors or Master's degree in related fields.
* 5+ years' experience in Program/Project Management or as a scrum Product Owner
* 5+ years' experience facilitating solutions between business and technical teams
* Experience with Salesforce.com, Netsuite, Talend, AWS (Lambda), and ESB Integration tools (preferred)
* ScrumPO, SAFePO….. (encouraged)
