Sema4 is a patient-centered predictive health company founded on the idea that more data, deeper analysis, and increased engagement will improve the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Sema4 is enabling physicians and consumers to more seamlessly engage the digital universe of health data, from genome test results and clinical records to wearable sensor metrics and more. The company currently offers advanced genome-based diagnostics for reproductive health and oncology and is building predictive models of complex disease. Our office in Union Square has an immediate need for a Technical Program Manager for Digital Products. Our Program Manager will review and oversee strategic delivery plans in terms of schedule, cost, scope and quality of digital products end to end. Setting priorities and milestones to meet strategic objectives around the program, as well as the formulation and management of all program-level metrics and KPIs. Our Program Manager will partner with stakeholders to identify both strategic and tactical initiatives and is able to assist with prioritizing and grooming of both the portfolio and program backlogs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Establishes and clearly communicates the program strategies and progress to key stakeholders
* Provides leadership to cross-functional teams, including on-going refinement and alignment of best practices, compliance, and inflight program health checks
* Anticipates any impediments, risks that may arise during the delivery of the program and ensures that appropriate mitigation actions are undertaken
* Leverages experience to ensure strong program planning
* Discovers and proactively helps the team to manage issues, dependencies, and risks to program plans, and acts as the primary point of escalation within Technology to resolve issues as necessary
* Builds collaborative relationships at all levels
* Ability to write and debug SQL queries.
* Understanding of technical terms like session, performance, audit, database, APIs.
* Participates in the engagement of delivery and/or support teams, negotiating where necessary to resolve resourcing conflicts that may arise due to availability or skill
* Designs, develops, and deploys appropriate Agile Program Management best practices; PMO standards and frameworks and governance and quality of all product development activities
* Leads continuous improvement efforts around Agile Program Management best practices to support and improve on delivery strategies and solutions that can be scaled to an enterprise level
* Ensures the sharing of best practices and lessons learned
* Assists with recruiting to develop exceptional Program/Product Management talent
* Establishes and executes a communications plan for PMO activities

QUALIFICATIONS

* 3+ years experience of working in an Agile environment and using recognized development methodology e.g., LEAN Agile, SCRUM, KANBAN
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Excellent problem solving
* Ability to participate and engage in technical discussions.
* Knowledge of at least one web based programming language like Java and one RDBMS like SQL, Oracle.
* Ability to multitask
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Detail oriented
* Certifications like CSM, SAFe preferred.
