Do you want to work on high visibility, and cross-functional programs and projects at Amazon, and be instrumental in driving them forward?

The Corporate Infrastructure Buildout (CIB) PMO team has an opening for a Technical Program Manager to manage program and project intake.

The CIB PMO team is part of the Global IT Organization. Alongside working with other Global IT teams, the CIB PMO works with other Amazon teams such as Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF), Corporate Security and Corporate Integration. The CIB PMO Intake TPM coordinates new requests that the team receive, coordinate their assessment, identify their scope and priority, and work on their planning. The role will not be limited to one program as you will manage the intake of a variety of projects, involving multiple departments and cross-functional teams. These projects include for example new sites build out, existing sites expansion, and other IT infrastructure upgrades.

The right candidate must possess a strong technical Program Management background. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an ever-changing environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. Strategic thinking, maturity, negotiation skills, and the ability to influence are essential to success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Drive coordination with internal and external Program Management teams
* Support project and program feasibility assessment, scoping and requirements definition across multiple geographic locations in EMEA.
* Effectively communicate and function within Amazon to gain the required resources and appropriate management support.
* Continually identify and help coordinate ways to improve the intake and project/program management processes in Global IT.
* Create and manage reporting of the PMO Intake to accurately reflect status and changes of our portfolio.
