As a Technical Program Manager, you will play a key role driving problems that span the organization. Our team is comprised of varying levels of experience and backgrounds, from new grads to industry veterans. Relevant experience is important, but ultimately less so than your demonstrated abilities and attitude. Facebook is constantly redefining what is possible, and we need people that can do the same. This is a full-time position based in our office in Menlo Park or Seattle and will report to the Group Technical Program Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Lead initiatives and work closely with teams across the organization, including partnership teams around the world



Manage cross-functional software engineering programs in a matrix organization covering a range of areas

Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery

Balance the business needs with technical constraints by building deep subject matter expertise for your area

Proactively identify inefficiencies that are holding the team back, and drive better, more efficient workflows

Interface with Engineering and business owners for defining requirements and scope

Help drive product decisions to align with company-level initiatives

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* B.S. in a Computer Science or equivalent experience



7+ years of tech industry experience including 5+ years of program management experience

Communication experience with experience tailoring the message to the audience, and using multiple communication to distribute information

Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams

Experience leading cross-organizational programs and experience setting and holding teams and individuals accountable to timelines and deliverables

Analytical and problem solving experience including experience collecting data points across disparate projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Experience with hands-on involvement in solving large-scale technical problems



Experience working with large-scale distributed data systems

Knowledge on building APIs, SDKs and developer facing products
