Within Amazon's Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team (FP&A), we enjoy a unique vantage point into everything happening within Amazon. We are the team that is responsible for the enterprise-wide financial planning & analytics software tools.

As the central place the entire company looks to for an understanding of financial performance we play a major role in driving business decisions.

We need your help to build a completely new financial software system that will scale to meet the company's needs for the next ten years. You will help us manage and prioritize business needs for maintaining our legacy financial software while assisting with the new system by identifying opportunities for eliminating manual maintenance and code changes necessary in our old software.

There is no company on Earth building financial software with the scale and flexibility that Amazon requires.

Our new financial systems are being built with AWS big data technologies including EMR, Spark and S3.

The right candidate will possess a strong technical program management background, will have demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects across multiple teams. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
