* The Technical Lead - Threat Analysis analyzes technical and intelligence information to provide cyber threat indications, warnings, and trends.
* Performs assessments of malicious or suspicious activities to determine potential security risks.
* Prepares and reviews threat reports, assessments, briefings, and other written products.
* Engages in daily "information sharing" efforts with counterparts in the Law Enforcement, Intelligence, and Computer Network Defense communities. Participates in inter-agency working groups, conferences, and task forces and provides relevant Department related data.
* Leads and supervises lower-level analysts..
* Contributes security expertise in working groups.
* Leads and supervises lower-level analysts.
* Recommends improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Liaises and coordinates with operational managers and other entities within the Department and with outside agencies.
