Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

* Acts in a larger project planning capacity.
* Audits the quality of work submitted by developers and provides related coaching and support.
* Supports the Request for Information (RFI) or Request for Proposal (RFP) with vendors if required.
* Enables operation groups to successfully accept system changes by informing stakeholders of their implications; recommend actions as appropriate.
* Possesses a deep understanding and problem solving ability of IT of various scale, degree and dimension of complexity
* Contributes to the development of the seed funding request by ensuring project scope and benefits are clearly articulated and risks are identified.
* Participates in the creation of use cases and user expected results to ensure that software is delivered to end users with zero Severity 1 or Severity 2 defects.
* Plans and conducts third-party software analysis as needed for inclusion in the project solution.
* Liaises with stakeholders to understand problems and opportunities, and recommends solutions to enable the organization to meet its goals
* Designs solutions, writes code, performs unit testing, develops appropriate artefacts / documentation, and facilitates final delivery using Salesforce tools.
* Develop Visualforce Pages and Apex Controllers, Classes, and Trigger
* Map, Transform, Migrate, and Integrate Data across systems
* Oversee a team between 2-4 developers and Administrators
* Works with project stakeholders to validate their requirements and analysis models via techniques such as reviews and walkthroughs.
* Ensures system specifications meet the business unit expectations/ requirements, and negotiate solutions.
* Maintains existing requirements to ensure that current state needs are known.
* Filters and "cleans" data, and reviews reports and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
* Understands and communicates technical and architectural complexities of a technical solution so that project stakeholders can easily understand.
* Recommends approaches to streamline and integrate technological processes in the organization to improve overall efficiency
* Develops, recommends, and employs productivity aids in all aspects of assignments to accelerate delivery.
* Develops innovative approaches to create solutions to resolve problems and significant issues within the project's mandate
* Seeks to integrate digital methods for agile, rapid prototyping, and for customer involvement.
* Identifies opportunities to strengthen the capability at BMO, such as: sharing expertise to promote technical development, mentoring employees, building communities of practice and networks across technology.
* Stays abreast of industry technical and business trends through participation in professional associations, practice communities & individual learning
