FactSet acquired Vermilion Software Limited, a leading global provider of client reporting and communications software and services to the financial services industry. Client reporting is a rapidly evolving area of the market as regulatory requirements rise and investors grow increasingly sophisticated. The Vermilion Reporting Suite (VRS) supports the workflow around all elements of the client reporting process. Vermilion has offices located in the U.K., Singapore, and the U.S.

Vermilion software is undergoing a period of expansion and is recruiting a number of high-quality, professional, enthusiastic Technical Implementation Specialists.

The client reporting Technical Implementation Specialist position is a client-facing role that covers initial analysis of client requirements all the way through to system implementation, delivery and support. Additionally, the technical consultant may be used to showcase technical aspects of the core product suite to potential clients. The successful candidate will become an expert in the use of the Vermilion Reporting Suite and will be a problem-solving resource to assist other Vermilion consultants.

Job Responsibilities

* Be part of the project team executing on implementation of project solution/installation;
* Assist sales team on demonstrations of product and configuration of Proof-of-Concept projects;
* Support project team in delivering client reporting needs and business process workflow
* Develop and produce customized documentation;
* Document procedures and methods used in the solution, and develop client-facing knowledge materials;
* Keep abreast of industry knowledge and trends.

Technical Requirement

* Excel VBA Macro Development experience
* Professional experience with: SQL, JDBC, HTML
* Develop SQL Queries;
* Develop stored procedures;
* Perform data analysis.


* Experience with server administration (Windows and/or non-Windows), networking, virtual machines;
* Some Reporting Tool/Reporting coding experience (advantageous).
