The Technical Design Authority role provides end to end technical leadership and ownership for customer solutions engaging with pre-sales teams, service delivery teams and the customer, through design, delivery and migration stages and provide support as requested by the assurance teams for design related issues.
The Technical Design Authority provides technical ownership of the integrity of the customer solution. They own the technical relationship with the customer and lead the design of the customer's solution. They are the single point of contact for the customer / internal departments on the technical aspects of the solution
Responsibilities:
* TDA will own the technical delivery of Tata customer solutions and will be the technical interface between customer, product teams and project management during service delivery. * TDA accepts technical ownership of the solution at the point of contract signature * Post-sale, you will be responsible for leading the technical design activities that aligns with the agreed design and finally, delivering to ensure the service design interoperates and integrates with the customer environment * Lead & manage the design workstream activity for our larger, complex customer design and be accountable for the end-to-end technical solution, managing the delivery of the solution * Close engagement with pre-sales engineering, supporting the creation of design proposals, technically validating solutions are fit for purpose and all technical aspects are clearly defined prior to contract signature. * Lead the low-level design documentation and ensuring knowledge transfer to design hubs on the projects which you are engaged, including managing & planning workload prioritisation as required. * Ensure that designs for which you are accountable have been through the relevant governance, compliance & assurance processes (with functional approvals where necessary). * Work proactively to ensure that the technical designs are based predominately on standard portfolio elements & reusable propositions
Leadership:
* Be able to lead the design workstreams with clients on large, complex opportunities. * Be able to lead customer facing technical workshops requiring excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to all levels of competency.

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field * 8 - 10+ years industry background with network design experience * Cisco CCIE + other relevant certifications preferable * Prefer experience with integrations in a cloud platform, SDWAN technology and Unified Collaboration Services * Excellent communication and documentation skills * Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge design excellence under pressure
