Technical Deliverable Manager

Key Role:

Work as a technical project manager and analyst on the architecture division supporting the Veterans Administration's Electronic Health Records Modernization Program (EHRM) for a system of systems deployment that will impact the delivery of Veterans' care at facilities nationwide. Compile content and maintain the currency of technical documents that result from architecture activities, including detailed solution analysis and publishing and style artifacts. Provide back up support for design review event coordination and scrum master facilitation. Manage and support the tracking and review of deliverables due from the vendor for PMO review and client acceptance that are assigned to the architecture division. Plan and execute ad hoc projects that require proactive research, outreach, and independent follow through and problem-solving. Support systems architecture development for DoDAF views created in Visio and a UML modeling tool.

Basic Qualifications:

* Experience with IT projects and teams through systems analysis support, technical writing, or technical deliverable management
* Experience with Microsoft Office
* Knowledge of appropriate data sources to address the specific requirements of projects for monitoring, characterization, analysis, and modeling.
* Ability to perform scientific research, scientific writing and editing of project products to establish government standards for the targeted science and lay audiences and proofread draft and final documents
* Ability to pay strict attention to detail and use appropriate data sources and complete high-quality work products that address assigned objectives independently
* Ability to work independently in an evolving environment, including proactive outreach to stakeholders and creative recommendations to achieve project objectives
* BA or BS degree in Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering, or a related scientific, technical, or clinical field and 4 years of professional experience or 8 years of professional experience may be substituted for education

Additional Qualifications:

* Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs OI&T or Health IT
* Experience with systems engineering and architecture analysis
* Experience with analyzing systems, gathering user requirements, producing systems specifications, implementing new systems, analyzing and programming applications, and designing and programming moderately complex IT systems
* Experience with technical or business process model development, validation, and improvement
