DESCRIPTION

The Technical Administrator role fits between our data-oriented solutions team and strategy-minded consultants. It requires an expert with an eye for detail to best facilitate the procurement and use of data across project teams with tasks that include:

* Administrate network drives by maintaining and defining user groups and storage while overseeing the archive protocol and auditing standard operating procedures regularly
* Manage SQL server by monitoring storage and space, troubleshooting issues, and overseeing the archive protocol
* Manage practice intranet by granting access and creating accounts and troubleshooting server issues
* Provision team data requests through ticket management, database creation, as well as data extraction and load processes
* Manage data investigation process by acting as a point of contact for teams with data issues and communicating findings between appropriate groups in order to ensure timely and effective follow-through

Growth opportunities for the role could expand to include more strategy-based challenges such as providing analytical support for data investigations and taking ownership over practice methodology/best practices for data use.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should be curious, organized, and efficient with the technical skills necessary to support the role's various tasks, including:

* Basic knowledge of SQL (Administration and experience in writing T-SQL queries)
* Knowledge in file share administration and permissions management
* Proven ability to develop and manage processes
* Experience in Kayako or other Ticketing system (like Jira, Etc.)
* Ability to work out of Cambridge, MA office
