Group: Professional Services

Reports to: Project Manager

Location: 100% Telecommute

Type of position: Contract-to-hire / Full time

Seniority Level: Consultant

Travel: 15%

Position Summary

The position contributes to company success by delivering efficient, effective, and accurate migration of key contract data from the Clients repositories and/or softcopy contracts to a new cloud-based platform. Responsibilities include formatting data, applying transformation rules through data manipulation techniques (SQL, Access, Excel, etc).

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Translate legacy formats to to-be formats with direction provided by client in documented requirements
* Help identify systematic ways to capture contract relationships in clients provided metadata
* Analyze and interrogate data within data sources to help build load files for migration
* Review existing migration tools and provide recommendations for improving performance of the migration process
* Implement potential new tools, scripts, queries or applications for accessing, analyzing and migrating data
* Create an input file that meets requirements and the data migration requirements for loading into target system
* Load metadata, relationships, and related attachments into CLM test environment and prepare success logs
* Load metadata, relationships, and related attachments into the production environment after successful completion of testing in test environment and prepare success logs
* Iterative testing of migration progress to ensure efficient progress through to completion.
* Provide timely status reporting to the Project Manager and advise of any potential abnormality
* Identify data quality/integrity issues propose solutions and oversee their final resolution
* As part of the project closure, evaluate and make recommendations for future improvements
* Perform other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

* Strong communications skills
* Advanced experience of Excel required which includes experience with Excel functions, macros, and Pivot tables (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX:MATCH, IF, LEN, RIGHT/LEFT, Fuzzy Lookup Add-in, Power Query Add-in, creating and running Macros)
* Strong background in relational database concepts, such as parent-child relationships, one-to-many, many-to-many relationships, primary/surrogate key, normalization
* Able to understand Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD) and data models
* Demonstrate working knowledge of handling data via Access, MS SQL Server, Oracle DBMS, and/or programming languages.
* Strong SQL skills required including writing selects, updates, inserts, deletes (DDL vs DML), joins, creating tables, and use of aggregate functions like SUM, ROW_NUMBER, RANK, DENSE_RANK
* Junior level experience with coding/scripting in any language, and has the propensity to solve problems through coding

Desired Skills and Experience

* 3+ years of Professional Services experience or project delivery experience required
* Experience in more than one phase of software implementation and/or delivery
* Client facing experience is a plus.


* Experience with aspects of software implementation project management including managing project deadlines, communicating with project stakeholders, escalating issues to the internal team, preparing functional and technical specification documentation
* Ability to engage and successfully interact with the client and project team at all levels
* Ability to handle multiple roles and support multiple active projects
* Well-spoken with highly effective communication skills delivering concise, but effective messages in a team environment
