The Technical Architect participates in all aspects of the technical deliverables on projects involving the implementation of JDA's Platform based Supply Chain Planning products, along with new next generation product offerings. (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning)

The Technical Architect provides direction to the on-site team on the technical design and definition and execution of related business process workflows that accompany the solution. This role is critical to the successful implementation of JDA's Supply Chain Planning solutions and customer satisfaction with the solution. 75% travel is required.

What are we looking for?

* An experienced Software Technical Architect with 7+ years of customer-facing Technical Consulting experience
* Programming experience in Python
* Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning exposure
* Knowledge of Supply Chain is a plus

Responsibilities

* Participate in design sessions with customers and project teams to understand the functional and technical needs of the client and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.
* Work with the appropriate parties to effectively estimate project timelines.
* Escalate technical issues before they have a negative impact on the customer experience
* Work with appropriate parties to ensure that technical issues are resolved in a timely manner
* Supports technical activities on the project including technical design, instance strategies, capacity planning, validate SaaS environments, validate solution installation and configuration, batch scripting,
* Participate in high availability/disaster recovery planning,
* Provide technical expertise on development projects.
* Collaborate with project team to hone and define project technical requirements from technical specifications. Diagnose business and technical expectations on each project.
* Provide knowledge transfer to the customer.
* Serves as a trusted advisor to the customer.
