Technical Architect, Order Management Systems - PVH Corp.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technical Architect, Order Management System - will play a key role in managing and supporting growth of current DOM Platform and will lead key initiatives from a technology standpoint. Will work effectively with internal and external cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs, review and design requirements, drive product development and deploy new solutions from the front lines. The Technical Architect will be responsible for driving innovation to support PVH's growth as well as to provide guidance and vision for the future technology solutions for 'Unified Commerce' solutions to our business partners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

* Work closely with Logistics & Ecommerce teams across PVH brands, provide technical leadership on Order Management & Integration with other enterprise systems on technology and become a trusted partner in technology decisions
* Create and iterate on an architectural roadmap for DOM platform in support of business goals and needs
* Provide technical leadership to Order Management projects at PVH
* Take accountability for architecture and quality of integrations across platforms
* Understand business needs, goals and KPIs; work with cross functional teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions
* Work with Systems Admins, DBAs and Network Engineering teams in hands-on development of platforms for future upgrades as needed
* Define code review, unit testing and other code quality standards and drive adoption of those standards
* Establish CI/CD and DevOps processes to driving agile project execution
* Partner with Development Manager and Analysts in work prioritization and planning
* Create detailed architecture including recommendations for integrations, API / micro-services enablement, cloud migration, etc.
* Actively participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint demos and retrospectives
* Assist in establishing support processes as new platforms go-live and evolve the processes to be nimble and responsive to changing business needs
* Stay current on emerging technologies and conduct independent research to support business needs and requirements
* Partner with other technical teams (Enterprise Integration, Database, Infrastructure, etc.), create interface documents and mappings to ensure that the OMS is built in a Service Oriented Architecture manner
* Conduct proof of concepts with new technologies in support of architecture vision and guiding principles
* Drive or participate in technology vendor discussions, evaluations, and selections

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

* 10+ Years of prior Software Industry experience required
* Required strong hands-on experience with Manhattan Associates' Distributed Order Management capabilities including EOM, Distributed Selling, MIF and SIF.
* Understanding of Supply Chain solutions Global Inventory Visibility and Reverse Logistics
* 5-8 years relevant targeted experience in architecting solution practices at large enterprises
* 7+ years' experience working in Wholesale/Retail/Supply Chain domain is preferred
* 7+ years' of experience leading, building and developing a project delivery/product management team focused on continuous improvement and productivity initiatives
* 4+ years' experience working as a developer with Java as the backend, and any front-end Java-script based packages
* Experience and understanding of new and upcoming technology trends -- API / Micro-services, Dev-Ops, CI/CD
* Enterprise-wide IT experience that includes hands-on solution development on OMS, Dev-Ops engineering, and Enterprise architecture
* Experience with cloud based solutions and SaaS platforms; experience architecting and implementing solutions in one or more of the cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, and Azure)
* Design / implementation / consulting experience with distributed applications
* Experiences with Continuous Integration tools, like Jenkins or Bamboo
* Skills related to containerized environments and technologies like Docker, Kubernetes or API Gateway (Apigee) will be highly desirable
* Experience with WebMethods or similar tools like MuleSoft or TIBCO preferred
* Hands-on experience with JBoss, Oracle Toad, PL/SQL, XML, XPath and XSLT
* Prefer expert level skills in RDBMS, SQL, JDBC, Stored procedures, triggers and functions using Oracle SQLPLUS and PLSQL programming languages like Visual Studio .NET, IIS
* Experience with version control systems such as Subversion and Git
* Agile Scrum/Kanban familiarity and experience working in an agile environment

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology

Skills:

* Ability to build integrations between Order Management platform and other enterprise applications using REST, SOAP APIs etc.
* Strong in Supply Chain domain and hands-on experience with DOM and WMS
* Demonstrate ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
* Dynamic team player with the ability to collaborate within and across teams and departments
* An abundance of 'Right Attitude' - Must be able to roll up sleeves and get hands dirty when issues arise or with builds, code enhancements and testing
* Ability to iterate quickly in an agile environment
* Ability to learn new technologies and evaluate multiple technologies to solve a problem
