Goldman Sachs Technology Risk is leading threat, risk analysis and data science initiativesthat are helping to protect the firm and our clients from information and cyber security risks. Our team equips the firm with the knowledge and tools to measure risk, identify and mitigate threats and protect against unauthorized disclosure of confidential information for our clients, internal business functions, and our extended supply chain.GLOBAL RISK MEASUREMENT & ANALYTICS identifies control weakness, adherence to regulatory requirements, and allows for the continuous control monitoring of individual key performance indicators that demonstrate the value of information security. This programleverages tools and modeling to ensure technology policies and standards address critical risks and adequately address regulatory expectations throughout the Firm.The successful candidate will work with application development teams that are developing the next generation of critical business applications, helping them to understand control requirements and integrate them into their applications. Additionally, s/he will collaborate with the global Application Risk, Risk Measurement, and other global Technology Risk teams to develop applications and measurements into the technology risk ecosystem. The successful candidate will become a highly committed trusted Risk Adviser with the discipline and interpersonal skills to work in a global environment communicating the impact of technology risks and the approach to mitigation/acceptance, and will provide risk assessment and advisory services to technology engineers. Responsibilities: • Assess applications for design related security risks and assist teams in determining appropriate remediation for issues identified • Driving application development for risk products through the firm's the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Provide deep subject matter expertise in application design and development approaches and techniques • Contribute to the technical understanding and adoption of controls and themeasurement of them • Be highly committed both to achieving the deliverable and to the team itself. • Have the discipline and interpersonal skills to work well in a global environment, complementing teams in other locations. • Work with engineers to develop customized security testing strategy to complement the existing security testing program managed by Technology Risk

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL• The successful individual will influence the design and security of leading edge financial advice and management platforms, helping the firm to create client-friendly, secure products for use across the business.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in application development and other Information Security related fields and risk analysis techniques• Strong technical, interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal clients locally and globally• Ability to communicate to a global audience and structure programmes effectively• Good Analytic background to define risk models and thresholds• Development experience and proficiency in one of more languages, such as Java, C/C++, Objective C• Ability to engage technical client base of engineers and communicate security requirements, potential risks and influence development practicesPreferred Qualifications• Recent knowledge and experience with software containerization technologies and architectures• Medium-scale technical program management skills• Ability to provide deep level subject matter expertise in one or more application security areas, such as implementation of cryptography, authentication, specific development language implementation risks and secure design patterns
