Protecting customer data is an essential part of Nordstrom's customer service mission. As a security program manager on the Information Security Identity Access Management team, you will drive our ability to meet customer, business, and industry expectations for how we protect identities and their access here at Nordstrom. In this Program Manager role, you will partner with and represent Nordstrom technology stakeholders in enterprise efforts to modernize technology systems, processes, and practices around Identities and their corresponding access. You will work cross-functionally with a variety of technology teams to influence and drive how we use and manage identities. This includes preparing technology-wide project plans, including the resources, labor, and time needed to implement business process and system changes.

In this role, you will…

* Partner with technology stakeholders to assess appropriate level of permissions required with the least amount of privilege
* Collaborate to identify and provide options for necessary changes to reduce risk
* Act as the primary point of contact representing Nordstrom technology teams for Identity Access Management in departmental and enterprise-wide venues.
* Understand and manage requirements from business partner teams
* Drive development of technology solutions to streamline and operationalize compliance.
* Measure and report on major project readiness and risks to stakeholders as well as executive leadership.

* A minimum of 8+ years job related experience in a security, privacy, or IT compliance field
* Data management skills, including analysis, metrics, and reporting
* Ability to track and maintain multiple projects and deliverables
* Strong partnership and relationship development skills
* Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills
* Understanding of software engineering practices and methods
* High-level understanding of a broad range of security knowledge around authentication and permission within Active Directory
