Allstate's Unified Customer View - Technology Solutions (UCV-TS) team is responsible for delivering new functionality to support the UCV data platform and providing the business with a 360 view of customer information across all channels. This role will be responsible for being a Tech Lead for UCV Activities Team. Tech Lead creates detailed technical specifications, Works with Solution Designers on designing Solutions, Helps Developers on Technical Clarifications, develops application and system code as needed, participates in code reviews. Ensures Technical Oversight is maintained on regular Team Deliverables.
* Obtain a deep understanding of the UCV services • Work with Solution designers to Define System Solutions. • Review Solution with Development team and provide clarifications as needed. • Actively develop new POCs using TIBCO, Kafka, PCF. • Apply standard development practices as per current industry standards. • Support development/testing needs for creation of new services and addition of new functionality to existing services • Evaluate detailed business, functional, and high-level technical requirements (including recovery, security, and audit) • Participate in design reviews, conduct code reviews, testing reviews, and resolve moderate defects. • Apply usability and future state architectures to develop technical components according to design specifications • Collaborate effectively with other teams (internal and external) in a very dynamic agile environment
* 3+ years of experience in Java and TIBCO • Extensive Experience in Hadoop, Spark, Scala, PCF, Cloud native development with NoSQL databases. • Expertise and detailed knowledge of TIBCO Administrator, Business Works, XML technologies (XML, WSDL, XSD, XPath, XSLT), Web Services (SOAP and REST), Java and J2EE technologies • Exposure to Kafka Messaging platform & Kafka Streams API. • Strong experience in PCF Based development and tools. • Experience working in an Agile delivery model • Experience in working with Scaled Agile Framework environment. • Strong planning and organizational skills • Good communication skills • Knowledge of ITIL Processes • Ability to work in a high-paced team environment Desirable Criteria • Previous experience with Initiate Infosphere 11.5 • Previous experience working with Master Data Management including API's, Matching and Task processes • Previous experience working with relational databases (preferably ORACLE) • Previous experience working with Non-SQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) • Experience building CICD pipeline with test driven development • Experience working with Search engines like Solr, Elastic Search, Kafka
