Analyzes, administers, and maintains telecommunications systems.

Responsible for voice and data communication services.

Evaluates, analyzes, administers and maintains voice, data and wireless communications systems. Monitors operations of telecommunication systems and responds to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques. Installs and configures applications software and related hardware (such as desktops, and related peripherals like printers, scanners, drives, monitors, video teleconferencing hardware). Installs and configures telecommunication equipment (such as PBX or VoIP phones) using Cisco Call Manager. Provides end-user training of telecommunications features and functionality. Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced Analysts and Technicians. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Participates in special projects as required. Education

AA/AS in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications

3-5 years od directly related experience supporting information systems operations.

Networking experience using routers and switches

* Active Directory Account Management
* Windows 7 troubleshooting and OS development
* Application troubleshooting tools
* Outlook; Excel, Word; JAVA; Internet Explorer
* Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) experience is a plus
* Experience with PBX or VoIP is beneficial
* Experience with Video Teleconferencing (VTC) equipment is beneficial
* Participate in special projects as required

Due to the sensitive nature of the work, candidates must have a TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Must possess appropriate current DoD information assurance (IA) certification to be considered for employment; either CompTIA Security+CE or CCNA-Security; COMPTIA+CE is the preferred certification. In addition must attain the required DoD 8570 Computing Environment (CE) Certification prior to Hire Date. As part of your role/function on the program; you will be granted privileged user access. Privileged Users are subject to greater scrutiny as a direct result of significant responsibilities placed upon them. Please be aware that because of these critical duties; you will be subject to additional IT system monitoring; and supervisory evaluation to ensure continuous adherence to Privileged User processes and procedures. Privileged Users are subject to zero tolerance policy for security violations.
