This position is for a Senior Systems Integration and Test Engineer (SE) in the Engineering & Technology organization for Lockheed Martin RMS. The work will be performed in Manassas, VA.

The successful candidate must have experience in program execution in agile environments and system engineering of large, complex systems. The candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and correcting a variety of software, hardware and infrastructure issues related to integrating a complex system of subsystems and functional capabilities in a simulated tactical lab environment. Candidate will be expected to participate in the System Engineering life cycle, including test definition, test planning, software development and early integration, hardware stand-up, string and system integration, system certification and sell-off, and system delivery and production support. The candidate will be working in an integrated functional team in an Agile environment. The successful candidate must be self-motivated and work well in small to medium size groups with good team leadership abilities. The candidate will interact with both the Integration and Test Platform Leads and other integrators to address matters that affect execution or performance of the project and provide regular progress status and participate in re-plans as required to meet cost and schedule objectives for the technical work scope.

Basic Qualifications

Basic qualifications for this role will include a Bachelor's level degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field and zero to two years of professional experience. Familiarity with PC and workstation design tools and environments used for system and subsystem engineering is required. A demonstrated potential to work in a team environment on one or more of the following areas is required: analysis, requirements development, design, simulation, integration, and test. Strong leadership, administrative, and interpersonal skills are required. The ability to be flexible, motivated, dedicated, detail-focused, and team-oriented is required. The ability to multi-task is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment is required.
