Overview

MAR Division of Oasis Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer SME located in Arlington, Virgina to support and provide engineering, analytical, technical, and program management support to Alternative Energy and Fuels, Advanced Naval Power Systems, Advanced Naval Materials and Environmental Quality, Afford-ability and Survivability, Hydromechanics, Maritime-Interdiction, Naval Architecture and Ships Structures, and Undersea Weapons, and other programs.

LOCATION: Arlington, VA

EXPERIENCE LEVEL/EDUCATION: PhD in the relevant technical field and 15 years' experience, a Master's Degree in a relevant technical field and 20 years' experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 25 years' experience in a relevant technical field.

CERTIFICATIONS AND TOOLS: N/A

SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must have an active SECRET clearance, ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance is desired.

JOB STATUS: Full-Time - this position is contingent upon proposal award. TRAVEL: N/A

RESPONSIBILITIES: Functionally, the successful candidate will:

* Support the Navy client conditioning SME liaison and technical evaluation support.
* (SMEs) will be called upon typically on a part-time or periodic basis to conduct special studies or specific support and provide a senior level review of emerging technologies that support naval mission requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS: This candidate must have experience with the following:

* SME's must possess a PhD in the relevant technical field and 15 years' experience, a Master's Degree in a relevant technical field and 20 years' experience, or a Bachelor's Degree and 25 years' experience in a relevant technical field.
* Must have demonstrated experience supporting operational or S&T efforts within the DoD in their field of expertise.
* Must have an active SECRET clearance, ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance is desired.
