The Systems Engineering Test and Integration team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Systems Engineer based out of San Diego, CA.

What You'll get to Do:

Tasks will include leadership, coordination and execution of system Integration and test lab activities to ensure data link communications test readiness to include issuance, and closure of documentation relating to networked communications integration and test. Position requires creating lab development test plans with ECP/ICP requirements, test schedules, coordinating and staging of support equipment, and adhering to test schedules. Coordination and communication of issues and status with USG customers, Test Operations, maintenance, logistics, mission assurance, and Responsible Engineers is required. This position will act as a focal point between USG customer, lab, hardware and software engineering personnel.

Performs technical planning, data link communications lab test, system integration, risk and data analysis.

This position may be filled as a Systems or Principal Systems Engineer.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Basic or a Systems Engineer:

Bachelors in a STEM field with 2 years of relevant experience; 0 Years with Masters.

Basic for a Principal Systems Engineer:

Bachelors in a STEM field with 5 years of relevant experience; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.

Basic Qualifications for Systems and Principal Engineer:

Must have detailed experience with tactical data link MIL standards, requirements and test in a USG lab environment

Experience working directly with government/military personnel at government/military facilities

Tactical Data Links such as LINK 16, JREAP A/C, SAT J, LINK 11, LINK 22. Familiar with MIL-STD-6016E & MIL-STD-6020 data forwarding

System Administration of LINUX, UNIX and Windows operating systems

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Experience with test tools such as (MLST3, JRE, and GM)

Systems engineering 'V' model knowledge

Knowledge of C2P and Combat Systems (AEGIS/BMD)

Active Secret Clearance
