What you'll be doing...

The Revenue Systems team is part of the Financial Systems Group (FSG) and is the central knowledge base for the flow of revenue and accounts receivable data through all billers to RA Close Engine. This group is responsible for the data, data modeling architecture, and data transformation processes for both existing and new revenue and A/R systems. This team supports all new Finance (Accounting, Tax, Marketing, FP&A, and Collections) projects to ensure financial data is cared for appropriately and can successfully make its way into our ERP systems. The Revenue Systems team is also responsible for the normalization of data as it flows through the various environments in the Billing Operational Data Store. The team provides Advanced Analytics solutions to our Finance end-users. Finally, Revenue Systems assists in month-, quarter-, and year-end close procedures for various departments by providing analytical reports for journalization, trending, and variance investigation.

You will be actively engaged in following areas:

* Data Analytics & Analysis - Develop and deliver data-driven solutions to support business needs and analytics. Provide recommendations and solutions for improving data accessibility as driven by the business need for knowledge and decision.
* Design & Development - Assist in data store architecture design and SQL development for new projects and initiatives. Ability to transform SAS/JCL into SQL/QlikView
* Automation - Experience in automating processes and utilization of automation tools such as Selenium or Automation Anywhere.
* Block chain - Discover solutions for complex problems by leveraging blockchain technologies such as Smart Contracts and Hyper ledger.
* Cloud & Open Source Technology - Expert in development operations; including, but not limited to: open source tech, Hadoop, and Tableau
* Information Quality - Ensure revenue and accounts receivable processing best practices are followed and documented to ensure a high level of data quality flows through the revenue and A/R feed processes. Participate in resolving discrepancies to ensure a high level of integrity in our financial systems data and processes.
* Documentation - Assist the team in the ongoing creation and maintenance of documentation related to data processes and business rules. Use a variety of data visualization/presentation tools to support self-service analytics or to aggregate data for management presentations.

What we're looking for...

You'll need to have:

* Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
* Six or more years of relevant work experience.
* Teradata DBMS or other relational database experience required.

Even better if you have:

* Bachelor's degree with concentration in Accounting, Finance, FP&A, MIS, IT, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
* Five or more years of directly related experience with database system projects and end-to-end design.
* Three or more years of account receivable experience.
* Telecom Experience.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
* Accounts Receivable process knowledge.
* Intermediate Accounting Skills. Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
* Demonstrated ability to work with little or no supervision and status multiple initiatives
* Advanced SQL skills required.
