Systems Engineer - TS/SCI Required!!!! Located at Joint Base Anacostia- Bolling, Washington, DC

Job Summary:

As the system engineer you will apply a structured approach to the design and implementation of systems and processes. They capture and translate mission and customer requirements in order to transform them into capabilities, testing, and validation. As a system engineer, you will assist our clients and business partners with implementing and integrating our software solutions and applications. You will be a technical "problem-solver". You will be part of our software development team who explores and expands capabilities to satisfy our customer's unique needs.

While you will be given lots of room to learn and grow, here are the starting requirements:

* Active DoD TS/SCI government clearance in JPAS
* Requires a DoD 8570 IAT level II certification or higher.
* 3 Years of demonstrated experience in systems engineering

Responsibilities:

* Evaluates interfaces between hardware and software, and operational and performance requirements of overall systems.
* Formulates, designs, prototypes, develop, optimize, test, and debug navigation software applications.
* Performs software maintenance and understands software configuration management with version control.
* Develops software system test procedures and conducts software testing.
* Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs.
* Analyzes and estimates feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware and other systems.
* Utilizes experience and judgment to develop and regularly maintain plans outlining steps and time tables for performing software engineering tasks.
* Communicates software design by using diagrams and software design documents.
