Description:Cloud Engineer. Position will be part of a high performing data services team delivering engineering solutions to Big Data, Relational and Cloud based database technologies.• The successful candidate must have working experience with Oracle, MYSQL, Postgres databases on Windows, Linux and Cloud based platforms. • Successful candidate should have expert knowledge with AWS/C2S technologies to include EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation.• Demonstrated experience utilizing • Demonstrated ETL experience in migrating Oracle databases to PostgreSQL, MySQL or NoSQL instances. • Demonstrated security best practices and extensive knowledge of industry data standards and architectures• Demonstrated knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.• Ability to effectively diagnose, isolate and expediently resolve complex problems pertaining to data infrastructure.• Ability to evaluate and make recommendations regarding data integrity.• Ability to develop methods of ensuring that the data incompatibilities among systems are systematically eliminated.• Demonstrated ability to develop and recommend data management policies, standards, practices and security measures to ensure effective and consistent data management operations.• Strong experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Linux/Unix Scripting• High-level knowledge of Cloud Computing candidate should be able to craft and drive technical requirements and support work through documentation. • Position will serve as the platform Engineer SME providing technical guidance and direction and able to design modular operation system baselines. • Demonstrated hands-on experience and thorough understanding of IdAM engineering, Platform engineering, Data and Application Security Engineering• The selected candidate will be expected to quickly learn new technologies and passionate about technical breakthroughs and solving complex problems. • Demonstrated on-the-job competencies with enterprise solutions enterprise data analytic engineering, enterprise software development and SysOps/DevOps.
