Altamira is currently looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team to support new opportunities in Dulles, VA. This Systems Engineer position supports the satellite ground systems integration and test team.

Position requires 6+ years of experience and a BS in engineering or related scientific degree.

As a Systems Engineer, the employee will be performing the following:

* Integration/Test engineering on a Government software development project
* Prepares and executes Integration/Test procedures
* Supports agile development using the Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Test Rail, Confluence)
* Prepares and/or resolved discrepancy reports
* Supports software development through initial investigation of operational system issues, discovering code bugs, providing code fixes and execution in the operational environment
* Perform system development, integration and operations support in an iterative environment
* Support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning/development

Other Desired Qualifications

* Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or Dev-ops environment
* Experience with automated test script development using perl/python
* Experience with systems engineering principles and activities

Required: US Citizen, TS/SCI Clearance
