Job Description Bose Corporation is a leading innovator in the field of automotive sound management, successfully extending its market leadership in the last couple of years. We are seeking Systems Engineers to help guide a very dynamic, fast and rapidly growing business. The Automotive Systems Division engineering team is looking for a Systems Engineer to work on creating and deploying new technologies that will enable future generations of Bose Automotive Audio. This highly self-motivated engineer should be able to take on and independently lead multiple development tasks of variable duration. The tasks at hand focus on development of a wide range of technologies, ranging from: entertainment audio to cabin sound management including a range of HW and SW deployment techniques. You will work within the boundaries of hardware, software and algorithms; specifying and designing audio solutions present in different automotive scenarios. The development tasks include System Architecture Scope and Requirements Management Systems Decomposition Communicating with stakeholders to identify needs Leading a cross functional team to develop state of the art yet implementable designs. Defining and supporting systems integrations testing Test to ensure that solution meets metrics Intentionally break the system to identify problem areas. You will lead the development of the overall system architecture and requirements analysis. The engineer should be able to conceive, analyze and optimize across both hardware and software environments. Must have demonstrable experience with embedded software systems as well as audio architectures. It is also highly desired that the individual can demonstrate knowledge of general purpose processor architectures, such as uC as well as DSPs and GPUs (preferable ARM) Ability to work directly with customers, analyze needs and providing solutions. Customer interaction will require occasional travel.
