Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces. Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture. Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success. Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes. Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

Customer Support Analytics Engineering, located in sunny Southern California, is seeking an experienced Systems Reliability Engineer to join our team and make an immediate impact on fleet support. You will be able to combine the deep expertise and resources of the entire Boeing enterprise with the flexibility and fast pace of a small company setting. You will have opportunities to collaborate with people from all over the world to create and deliver innovative solutions to complex technical problems.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Regularly monitors, interprets, and integrates complex technical data, quickly and efficiently, from a wide variety of sources.
* Applies analytical skills to a diverse set of structured and unstructured data located in multiple databases.
* Performs large volume data reduction using spreadsheets, databases, and other tools.
* Analyzes data to detect trends, associations, and cause-effect relationships, and develop viable action-oriented recommendations.
* Performs reliability analyses including; mission reliability requirements/performance parameters, mean time between failure, predictions, allocations, etc.
* Applies knowledge of aircraft system design & integration, operational procedures, and hazard identification.
* Assists in fault prediction/detection/isolation analysis, probabilistic risk assessment.
* Provides reliability, maintainability and system health trends of product performance
* Excels at working independently and collaboratively, in an investigative role, where detailed processes and procedures are not always specified.
* The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with an exceptionally positive and solution oriented can-do

attitude.



This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

* Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Science related discipline.
* Experience working with spreadsheets and database programs (e.g., Excel, Access, and SQL Database knowledge).
* US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

* Experience creating macros and scripts
* Commercial aircraft system design and engineering knowledge
* Experience with Agile software development in frameworks/languages such as Angular or Python
* Experience using Tableau for data visualization and dash-boarding
* Experience with Cloud Applications

Typical Education and Experience: Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
