Job Description

Description:This position is with the historic Skunk Works, located in Palmdale, CA. Known for some of the most advanced and groundbreaking aircraft ever produced, we continue to push the bounds of technology today.

Provide systems engineering support, to include but not limited to requirements tracking, risk management and architecture development across multiple projects within an ADP program. A qualified candidate will be able to understand the scope of the program and work across IPTs to ensure all aspects of the project are covered with appropriate requirements. Understanding of industry-standard requirement formulation, decomposition, flow-down, traceability, and metrics. The ability to work with functional experts and generate verification and validation plans for requirement is a must. Candidate will work with senior engineers to provide documents to convey customer and supplier(s) requirement relationships. The position will place an emphasis on risk management and tracking, with responsibilities that include participating in or conducting risk board meetings, preparing reports on risk status and working with program management and functional teams in conveying risk status to the customer.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors or above degree in a technical discipline, from an accredited college.

Experience with the systems engineering process.

Active secret clearance.

Experience with requirements decomposition and definition

Desired Skills:

Background and hands on experience with risk management.

Ability to work with different engineering disciplines to derive and decompose requirements

Good written and verbal communication with experience in writing requirements

Work experience with operational modeling tools

Experience with using the DOORS database tool

Familiarity with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
