The Opportunity

The Systems Engineer will be reporting to the Senior Network Operations Manager. This team is fast-paced and focused on learning, collaborating and mentoring. The qualified candidate will have strong IT Administration, problem-solving, and communication skills focused on SAAS systems/Azure across multiple classification levels.

Essential Job Functions for the Systems Engineer will include:

* Deploy, Maintain, Troubleshoot & Document SAAS applications such as Offices 365, Box, VMware Workspace One and VMware Identity
* Deploy, Maintain, Troubleshoot & Document IAAS Azure services
* Manage and maintain Mimecast
* Migrating legacy technology to a cloud-based system
* Collaborate and mentor teammates
* Serve as 2nd and 3rd level of escalation points to the Service Desk team
* Update system processes for documentation, guides, diagrams, and SOPs as needed
* Detect, isolate, document and resolve system outages
* Migrate, Maintain, Troubleshoot DNS and domain records
* Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications

* High School Diploma is required
* Bachelor's in any relevant technology degree is preferred
* Minimum 5 years experience in System Engineering is required
* Expertise in Azure Services (AD, compliance, security) and Office O365 is required
* Proficient Knowledge of VMware Workspace One and VMware Identity is preferred
* Proficient in managing Box is preferred
* Experience managing Mimecast is preferred
* Experience working with PowerShell scripts is preferred
* Working with Windows 10 experience is required
* Working with Windows Server 2016-2019 (AD, RDS) experience is required

Working Conditions: Professional office environment. Working inside. Standing and sitting. Will be assigned to a workstation. No heavy lifting over 25 lbs.
