In this role you will be a member of an interdisciplinary systems engineering team responsible for the development and maintenance of integrated ATE systems, focusing on S9100 system programs. As a member of this team you will:

* Develop, debug, and maintain large scale software in a Microsoft Windows environment
* Select test instrumentation and other hardware based on requirements and specifications
* Design cables and Interface Cable Adapters
* Determine rack configuration layout
* Create and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) for systems products
* Design and develop system self-test and calibration programs
* Design and develop programs and procedures for customer demonstrations
* Develop and maintain system maintenance strategies
* Develop system OS image backup and restore procedures

This role is also vital to fulfilling existing support contracts. In this role you will help execute support contracts by participating in the following activities:

* Obsolescence management
* Engineering Change Proposals
* Software maintenance and updates
* System problem reporting and troubleshooting
* Must be willing to travel internationally and within the USA as necessary; typically less than 10% of the time.

Basic Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Education Required

* A B.S. degree in Electrical, Computer or Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. A degree in another STEM discipline is acceptable with demonstrated electronics and software experience.
* Experience developing in C/C++
* Experience using Integrated Development Environments (IDEs)
* Experience with object oriented design and efficient use of data structures
* Experience reading data sheets and hardware specification documents
* Experience using common lab equipment
* A basic understanding of electrical engineering concepts

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience developing in C# and .NET
* Microsoft Visual Studio experience
* National Instruments CVI experience
* Circuit design experience
* Visual Source Safe or Team Foundation Server experience
* Experience working in the Automated Test Equipment (ATE) industry or working with ATE
* Experience with any of the following technologies, standards, and communication protocols: VXI, GPIB, IVI, PXI/PXIe, RS-232, RS-485, 1553, Ethernet
