This position requires 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering providing support to Spacecraft Systems and Instrumentation.
Duties & Responsibilities
This position supports the Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem (PACE) mission at Goddard Space Flight Center. The PACE observatory is comprised of three instruments, an Ocean Color Instrument (OCI) and two Polarimeters (HARP2 and SPEXOne). The OCI is the primary instrument on the observatory and is being developed at GSFC. This position provides Systems Engineering support to the OCI system. Responsibilities include technical and interface requirement development and management through the program life cycle, system analysis and technical interchange support, operations support development, major milestone review support, cross program interfacing and integration.
Skills
This position requires good communication skills, technical expertise, and collaboration across stakeholders. Must be proficient in NASA required tools such as Cradle or DOORS for Requirement Management.
Education
Minimum education: Bachelors in Engineering
Preferred Education: Masters in Engineering
