Camera sensor evaluation:

Collaborate with sensor vendors to evaluate emerging sensor technologies

Image sensor and camera module quality evaluations

Camera module calibration coordination and support

Sensor prototype and SW framework:

Android build on Qualcomm reference platform;

Image sensor driver development and stat parsing;

Camera SW stack development to support different use cases, including HAL implementation and post-processing features;

Bring up camera demo systems, in collaboration with external sensor vendors or internal system teams, with exposure to ISP tuning and 3A (auto exposure, auto focus, and auto white balance) development.

ISP tuning: camera sensor IQ tuning for emerging sensor technologies, on snapdragon ISP.

Minimum Qualifications:

Industry exp. in one or more of following skills:

SW development for Android platforms

Programming skill in C and C++

Object oriented programming

Experience in development of driver and frameworks for camera systems

CMOS image sensor characterization and camera module testing

Image quality evaluation and metric development

ISP tuning
