The Global Corporate Affairs (GCA) team is expanding their technical team and we are looking for a software development engineer with front-end experience. This role offers a wide scope, autonomy, ownership, and the opportunity to be a part of a technical team that seeks to be a force multiplier for Global Corporate Affairs.

This role is ideal for a builder, our team seeks to lead an innovative new user experience for Amazon.jobs and we own other key corporate websites such as About Amazon and The Day One Blog. We leverage a wide verity of Amazon based tools, industry standard approaches, and cloud computing technologies based on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The ideal candidate will have an understanding end-to-end of web applications and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A strong desire to take on high profile content platforms and strive to provide value to our internal and external customers alike. You'll be able to contribute to delivering new features and software-based solutions that increase the customer experience, drive employee efficiency, or streamline operational support. You'll have a solid understanding of full stack OO development and all aspects that support it.
