Job Description

System Administrator

This requirement is in task order stage of the process and each candidate considered will be fully screened by our recruiter and technical team lead and if so chosen to proceed in consideration, provisioned an Letter of Intent (LOI). This LOI will need to be reviewed, signed and returned to HighPoint given us full approval to submit the aligned candidates resume to our customer for consideration of this task order.

HighPoint has an opening for a System Administrator to administer the operation of business systems. Troubleshoot computer related problems and, as necessary, contact appropriate service representatives to resolve systems problems. Install hardware and software, as needed. Perform backups, database administration, and file recovery. Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.

EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

* A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related field
* Minimum 4 years of experience with the following systems, IBM FileNet Content and Thunderhead

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

* Experience with financial systems/applications preferred

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

* US citizenship or Green Card holder
* Relocation will not be offered
* Please no Corp-to-Corp or 1099 candidates; this position is W-2 only.

* Selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc.
* Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs.
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

* Individual's primary workstation is located in an office area.
* The noise level in this environment is low to moderate.
