POSITION SUMMARY:

Haggar

Clothing Company is looking for a Systems Engineer in the DFW area to help

build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our enterprise infrastructure. You will

be part of a talented team of admins who demonstrate superb technical competency,

delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of

availability, performance and security. Qualified systems administrators will

have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering

and analysis. With a focus on IT security, virtualization and cost savings.

KEY JOB

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Manage

and monitor installed systems and infrastructure

* Install,

configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system

management tools

* Proactively

ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

* Maintain

the integrity of the systems and fail safe mechanisms against hackers and

unauthorized users

* Create

and update documentation as necessary

* Maintain

security, backup, and redundancy strategies

* Write

and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human

intervention time on any tasks

* Participate

in the design of information and operational support systems

* Liaise

with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

* Monitor

system integrity and capacity planning

POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

* Bachelor's

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or other

related field preferred

Relevant Work

Experience

* Minimum

3-5 years Windows support experience, 7, 8, 10, and Microsoft Server (all)

* Familiarity

with virtualization and vSAN storage

Technical Skills

* Windows

server expertise

* Familiar

with WAN/LAN technologies

* Understanding

of the OSI model

* Virtualization

(preferably VMware)

* Active

Directory

* SAN

storage (preferably vSAN)

* DNS

and DHCP

* SSL

certificates and PKI

* Solarwinds

Orion

* Familiar

with ITIL framework

* PowerShell

experience a plus

* Exchange

experience a plus

* Information

Security experience a plus
