Responsibilities:

* Operate and maintain hardware and software infrastructure that houses dedicated application solution(s) for DoD
* Operate and maintain identity and access management processes
* Optimize infrastructure and application monitoring and escalation processes
* Ensure Change Healthcare Federal Technologies' Authority to Operate certification and security compliance with ongoing security reviews
* Implement and maintain security best practices including access controls and backups for business-critical applications
* Upgrade and patch systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality, security compliance and security issue resolution
* Administrate infrastructure, including database clusters, certificate services, Microsoft System Center and other processes
* Manage Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Domain Name Server (DNS) and Group Policy Object (GPO)
* Manage the configuration and operation of server-based computer operating systems
* Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
* Develop tools and automation to simplify common tasks
* Install and test computer-related equipment
* Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
* Create, maintain and verify backup of data
* Respond to and resolve help desk requests, providing technical support for environment and application related issues our users encounter
* Can act as a supervisory and or team lead role

Qualifications

* Technical degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years' proven experience in system administration or in a similar role
* U.S. Citizenship
* Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy Object (GPO)
* Proficient with scripting languages like Python, PowerShell
* Experience with server administration and maintenance, databases, networking and patch management
* Experience with data backup/recovery
* Microsoft Windows and Linux server experience
* Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
* Strong desire to build, sense of ownership, and customer focus
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Familiar with Agile Scrum methodology
* "Secret" Government clearance (preferred)
