Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

The Systems Administrator Role is a position within the IT Operations Group. This role is accountable for ensuring a high level of IT Support to local, regional and global employees and ensure the continuity of computer systems by performing required maintenance, providing technical expertise, resolving technical problems and acting as a liaison between the business and ERP Service Providers. Responsible for technical documentation and maintenance of IT forms and IT compliance tasks at site.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Installs supports and maintains desktops, laptops, printers, mobile and other infrastructure equipment.
* Resolves hardware and PC software related issues with end users.
* Manages and maintains phone system user data (adds, changes and deletes)
* Manages and maintains IT asset data - either manually or electronically.
* Supports infrastructure projects and at times leads projects.
* Executes infrastructure changes including system upgrades and patch installation using maintenance windows as much as possible.
* Assures that all infrastructure work is executed according to Crane policies, procedures and supplemental documents.
* Maintains software licensing compliance.
* Insures Sarbanes Oxley compliance (as related to infrastructure).
* Acts as a liaison between internal customers, suppliers and other IT team members to assure that Crane ChemPharma and Energy goals are being achieved.
* Participates actively in the Operational Excellence process including Kaizens and recommending solutions to enhance and improve the quality of departmental and/or company-wide business activities.
* Manage the Local ERP issue backlog
* Manage the Local ERP Project Funnel
* Manage the relationship with our Local ERP Support Partners
* Manage the Day to Day IT Support needs of the Saddle Brook site
* Responsible for all IT Compliance Tasks (Infrastructure and Glovia) for site
* Work with Business to identify and deploy enhancements or projects that add value to the business

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

* Fluent oral communication skills in English


* Associates Degree


* 3+ years of relevant experience


* Proficient written communication skills in English

Technical Proficiencies


* Microsoft Windows Server


* Microsoft Windows Desktop O/S


* Basic understanding of ERP Functionality


* VMware

Bachelor's Degree a plus

Linux Knowledge a plus

Certifications in above proficiencies a plus
