Incumbent has accountability for Strategic Planning, Architecture, Delivery and Operations of the Data Center Infrastructure, Network and Telecommunications solutions. Collaborates with CTO on current and long-range vision and IT Strategy aimed at keeping the organization on the forefront of change. As a key advisor to the CTO and UC Irvine Health CIO, incumbent in this position provides direction, technical advisement, and implements changes to infrastructure and IT processes or procedures. Incumbent promotes the consistency and standardization of the organization's present technology and the dissemination of technological information throughout the organization.
Salary Range:
Rate Minimum $92,600.00 Maximum $232,200.00
Required Qualifications:
7-10 years experience in ITIL based IT Infrastructure Services Delivery organization
Ability to effectively plan for and optimally manage resources
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystem
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Ability to simultaneously manage multiple large projects
Bachelors degree in related area and/or equivalent experience and training
Demonstrated success leading Data Center Consolidation and Cloud Migration Initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience in a medical/hospital environment
Experience managing EPIC EMR Platform
Experience with Cloud Platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS
Experience with Data Center Operations and Automation Tools including Monitoring Tools such as SolarWinds, StruxureWare
Experience with Microsoft Stack (Windows 2008, SQL etc), Virtualization (Vmware), Storage (NetApp), Citrix, Network/Telecom (Avaya, Cisco) Technologies
ITIL Certification
Minimum 2 years Vendor Relationship Management
Minimum 2 years of direct experience leading an Infrastructure Services Delivery organization of medium to large size
Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with staff and senior management
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Preferred Qualifications:
CCAR or CCDE Cisco Certified
CCNA Cisco Certification
Experience using ServiceNow to manage team workload
Knowledge of medical and academic industry structures
Master's Degree
